Yesterday was “What Is It Wednesday” where I display a picture related to one of the posts from this past week. The picture was a close up of a pomegranate. It’s amazing how ugly one of these things actually look close up. The pomegranate is from the post, “Things You Shouldn’t Stick Up Your Nose and More,” where Rayner had stuck a pomegranate seed up his nose and I had spent some time trying to “unstuck” it. Of course, the seeds in this picture haven’t been up Rayner’s nose (thank goodness!).
However, in case you’re wondering, Rayner’s been grounded from eating pomegranates after a second incident involving this hideous-looking, yet sweet tasting fruit. This time he didn’t mess with the seeds (I guess he’s learned his lesson there). Instead, he decided to paint our white-washed walls red with the juices. I guess I should be happy that he’s recycling what he can’t finish in an artistic way; however, pride was the last thing I felt after having to scrub a hallway of blood-colored stains off the walls. Anyway, if you would like to, you can still enjoy, “Things You Shouldn’t Stick Up Your Nose” at this link.

Hi! I’m visiting from MBC. Great blog.
Your posts are really funny! I have one son who also seems to find the craziest mischief to get into. It’s outstanding isn’t it? One minute I want to pull my hair out and the next I just want to smother him in kisses. But you have 4! Go Supermom indeed! Thanks for the encouraging comment on my site. I am a following you too.
Hi Blia,
I love your blog.
Thank you so much for the follow. I am now following you.
I love pomegranates but have never seen one from the angle in your photo. They definitely look better with a little distance. I am sorry to hear about the walls. That must have been an ugly contrast.
Hahah! I love it! Only because it’s not me. LOL!
Pomegranates are delicious, though!
Two words: Magic Eraser. From Mr. Clean. Gets Sharpie off walls, will work with pomegranate juice. Found you on MBC… looking forward to reading more!
hah! man I love pomegranates but I never knew how dangerous they could be in the hands of a small child.
OMG! How did you get those stains out?! You poor thing. By the way, I have to sympathize with Raynor…I stuck a button up my nose when I was little…we had to go to 3 doctors before someone coudl get it out
!
Thanks for visiting my blog!

It took a while and a little scrubbing, but they all came out . Thank goodness! Thanks for visiting.
Thank you, Naomi. I just read your post. Loved it. It was a good thing your Grandma knew how to do her version of the heimlock maneuver. That must have been scary for your dad.
