I love What Is It Wednesday. Besides, what can be easier more fun than taking a close up picture for everyone to guess? Unfortunately, this week, I will be skipping What Is It Wednesday for the Frugal Housewife’s Decorating For the Holidays Blog Hop. I can see your disappointment, but believe me, this will be fun.
I am horrible at holiday decor. I can barely coordinate my shoes and socks to match the rest of my clothes. My husband can attest to this as I once brought him a pair of white soccer shorts matched with a blue polo shirt and a pair of black soccer socks. I really had not been looking when I grabbed these mismatched clothes. Nevertheless, my husband has refrained from letting me select his clothes for him, so since I am so horrible at matching and decorating, I will instead attempt to show you how to make a holiday video E-card to send out. Hopefully my directions will be better than my sense of fashion.
All you need is Microsoft Powerpoint and a Slideboom account or an authorSTREAM account (which are free). Next, create a Powerpoint slide using any pictures, videos, and text writings. I just used Microsoft Clip Art and a WAV file for mine. You can animate these objects to liven up and make your presentation more interesting. After you are done with your Powerpoint presentation, log into your authorSTREAM or Slideboom account and upload the presentation into your account. Get the link to your presentation and email the link to your family and friends. Now you’re done!
